Overview
In 2009, Javier Chocobar, an indigenous Chuschagasta community member in Argentina’s Tucumán Province, tried to defend his people from eviction by a landowner and two former police officers. Chocobar was shot and killed. Filmmaker Lucrecia Martel takes a sweeping approach to this tragic story.
